What Is Stress and Why Do Humans Have it?

In our current world, we are bombarded with information and events that create fear. The Stress is so common it has been defined as a global epidemic. If we are at an epidemic level, then we must learn where stress comes from in order to treat it.

As infants, we cry when we are hungry. We cry when we are wet. Infants are not crying because they are stressed out there may be no milk in 2 weeks. So how do we LEARN to be stressed?

Jean’s presentation focuses on where stress comes from, why our human brains create it and thrive on it, and how stress can be reduced through Mindfulness and Meditation. Her presentation can be from 30-60 minutes followed by a 30-minute guided Meditation. Participants are left with tools to have a life with less stress and more ease and with the ability to be happy, focused and productive in all areas of their life.
